Genevieve Manion
is a New York-based amateur Victorian historian and the host of My Victorian Nightmare and Dark Poetry. Her approach to historical story telling and poetry is grounded in a deep affection for human beings; their struggles, their joys, their lives, their deaths and the ways they affectionately hold onto memories of those passed.

Dark Poetry
Dark Poetry is the sister podcast to My Victorian Nightmare. Genevieve shares hauntingly beautiful poetry from the Victorian era's most beloved authors to enchant your heart, calm your nerves, or scare you right to sleep.

Works by authors like Poe, Yeats, Rossetti, Tennyson and Dickens, read aloud to eerily calming music.
